San Diego Trip

Jeremy and I went to San Diego the early part of August. We stayed 7 days and 6 nights. The weather was amazing: the coldest summer in a while. The high was around 84 and the lows around 65. San Diego is beautiful: I got to see the beaches, Del Mar Horse Races, Downtown, and a Padres game... Along with great food and a relaxing vacation with the boyfriend!

Petco Park: We went to a 3:00PM game. The stadium is interesting and beautiful! The park is literally in the down town area!

We went to the beach the next day. Yes, I am in a jacket. Along with the cold water, the weather was still chilly. The beaches were way better than anything I have ever seen!

This was a momument which we came across after leaving the beach. You could see for miles. The "hill" overlooked the downtown area, the bay, and the ocean. It was a little overcast, but still a breath-taking view.

We went to the Horse Races in Del Mar. The facilities were outstanding. We won little bets, but I won the biggest of the day: $99 on an underdog who had all the odds against him. =) I was so excited.



The next day, we went to the SAN DIEGO ZOO. The weather was perfect for walking around the zoo. We started at one end of the zoo and finished the entire zoo. Jeremy's favorites were the monkeys - we spent most time with them as well as his sea lion show. My favorite thing was the "Splash Animals" - these girls did these paintings in 5 minutes. I want a print but they are $$$$.



The last day we spent at the harbor on the Corinado Island. We had a great lunch and relaxed on the beach. A perfect way to end the vacation.

I cannot wait to go back, next year? =)
